I have a love-hate relationship with pitch work. The late-night pressure tank of it all is never comfortable, often downright painful. But at the same time, after years of deep systems thinking or having to structure hundred-page strategy presentations, there is a simple joy in bashing together improbable things to visually convey an out-there concept in a way that can be immediately felt. It requires knowing which questions to ask for clarity to not lose precious time. But often, what it really requires is a little bit of blind faith in a concept that you maybe have practical reservations about but still need to make look really... sexy.
